Will this nebulise more viscous medications like Colomycin antibiotic solution?
Yes, but as it is viscous it will take longer. For example, it will take around twice as long as an equivalent amount of salbutamol. It should ideally be in a ventilated area so that other people do not inhale the nebulised solution. A more powerful nebuliser with a vented system should ideally be used for Colomycin - such as the Portaneb Ventstream, but the MicroElite will work well for travelling purposes.
