How much is postage?
Our website is programmed with the weight of everything listed and a calculation is performed to give a postage cost for any order. To see the postage cost, simply add items to your shopping cart and scroll down to see the charges - in the drop-down menu you can change the country for shipping and see the costs to despatch anywhere in the world.

We use Royal Mail services and DPD courier within the UK to enable a speedy service and the postage price is based on their pricing scheme. All orders to the UK over £50 will get FREE DELIVERY.
 
Will you ship an item to my country?
Yes, we will despatch any item to anywhere in the world. We may need to contact you after placing the order in case the shipping method is not suitable for your country - if that is the case we will advise on the best and most secure way to despatch the item.

Can you offer VAT Exemption on my purchase?
For UK customers wanting to purchase an item for a chronic medical condition, please read the page below as not all items are eligible (as per HMRC rules):

I live in the Channel Islands - can I buy without paying VAT?
Yes, you just need to select UK (Channel Islands) rather than just United Kingdom in the Country drop-down list while registering on the site and the VAT will be removed from your total. 
 

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept debit cards and credit cards, including American Express, using our secure payment gateway SagePay which we use on the Healthcare4all Checkout. We also offer Paypal which may be quicker for order completion if you already have an account with these payment providers, and can also be used by customers without an account (anyone can use Paypal, even with different currencies). We no longer accept cheques or postal orders.
You can call our office during our opening hours to place an order by phone - we will securely process a payment while on the phone using our SagePay terminal, and no records of your payment card are retained by ourselves. For repeat transactions we may be able to request this quickly via SagePay if we have your card security number.

I don't like to order online as I am concerned about security, is there another way?
Yes, please call our office on 0113 350 5432 and we can take your order details and payment over the phone, securely and we will do our best to answer your questions, or email us on [email protected] and we will reply as soon as possible.
 
 
After I entered my payment details, I was asked more questions. Why is this and is it safe?
This is caused by the fact we use 3D-Secure - an extra security measure that is used by banks to reduce credit and debit card fraud. This is something we actively encourage as everyone will benefit from fewer fraudulent payments. It might take an extra step but we think it IS worth it. 
Remember that customers benefit as well since credit card fraud costs the banks and companies money which in turn is passed on to someone else - the customer!
 
 
When will my item be shipped?
Every item purchased will be shipped the following working day (i.e. Monday to Friday) via Royal Mail or DPD courier, unless you are notified by email or telephone.
We use courier services for heavier or more valuable items and we may switch your order to a courier service for speed or better insurance.
 
 
Is my item in stock?
Every item has a stock indicator at the top of the item page to show whether the item is in stock for immediate despatch or if it is temporarily out of stock (so that you may place a back order with us).
Our stock levels are updated every few minutes by our back-end software, so if an item shows "IN STOCK", it will be available.
 
  
Do I still get the manufacturer warranty?
All items are supplied with full manufacturer warranty. You will receive a printed invoice with your purchase that acts as proof of your purchase and the start date for the warranty. You should retain this in case of any warranty claim.
