The LV50 works using the Evaporation Principle:
1. The air fan draws in the dry warm air from the room.
2. The dry warm air meets the evaporation filter which is fully saturated with water.
The water evaporates through contact between the air flow and the damp filter surface.
The ambient air absorbs the humidity.
3. The perceptible temperature of the ambient air drops. This creates a cooling air flow.
4. The water tank is used to humidify the evaporation filter.
