What is PAP?

STYLSMILE PAPTECH toothpaste includes a revolutionary whitening ingredient called PAP (Phthalimido-peroxy-caproic acid). How to Use:

Use the STYLSMILE toothbrush and toothpaste twice per day, every day for 2 minutes:
Apply the STYLSMILE toothpaste to the full length of the toothbrush bristles.
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the toothbrush, press once for a fast speed or twice for a slower speed.
Brush teeth in circular motions for 2 minutes, please note the toothbrush will pulse every 30 seconds.
Use the 30-second pulses as a guide to brush the four sections of your mouth, move the toothbrush and brush the next section after each pulse. The toothbrush will automatically turn o­ff after 2 minutes.
A flashing blue light around the power button indicates the STYLSMILE toothbrush needs to be recharged. Please charge the toothbrush using the USB power lead provided.

Why is STYLSMILE Brush kit different to other products on the market?
The STYLSMILE Brush kit is a revolutionary light accelerated teeth whitening experience which contains clever blue light technology to energise our safe PAP ingredient. Once energised, the PAP reaches stains on the surface and below the surface of the tooth to neutralise stains and whiten the teeth.

Teeth whitening occurs when stains from the tooth enamel are removed or the colour of dentine - the layer underneath the tooth enamel - changes. Unlike other methods STYLSMILE aims to do both using PAPtech™ instead of peroxide.

Does the STYLSMILE Brush Kit use UV Light?
No, the STYLSMILE Brush kit does not use UV light and instead uses blue light only.
A techy note from Tom: Light is made up of a rainbow of colours which come together to form white.
Sometimes when it rains, this light is split into a rainbow because each colour has a different wavelength.
Red has the longest visible wavelength at around 700 nano meters (nm), orange around 600nm, green 500nm and blue around 450nm.
Invisible UV light is smaller and too short for our eyes to see, it has wavelength of between 200-400.

What is covered in my STYLSMILE Brush kit warranty?
The STYLSMILE Brush Kit has a one year warranty, after the date of purchase, on any defect due to faulty materials or workmanship. Faulty products covered by the warranty will repaired or replaced by the manufacturer (STYLIDEAS). This warranty does not cover: Brush heads, damage caused by alterations, misuse, neglect, unauthorised repairs or normal wear and tear, including chips, scratches, discolouration or fading
How many times do I have to use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit to get results?
Results can be seen within 4 weeks. We do, however, recommend using the STYLSMILE Brush kit for a minimum of 60 days to see noticeably whiter teeth. Use the STYLSMILE Sonic Blue Light Toothbrush and PAPtech™ Whitening Toothpaste every day for 2 minutes in the morning and again in the evening to replace your usual brushing routine.
How does the STYLSMILE Brush Kit work?
The STYLSMILE Brush Kit comes with PAPtech™ Whitening Toothpaste which contains a powerfully effective whitening ingredient called PAP as well as fluoride and menthol to freshen breath, clean and whiten teeth when activated by blue light. This toothpaste will suppress the growth of bacteria in the mouth leaving your breath fresher for longer.
Independent studies with PAP show that teeth become noticeably whiter after 30 days.

How do I use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit?
We recommend that you use the STYLSMILE Brush kit twice a day for 2 minutes to replace your usual brushing regime.

Will it make my teeth sensitive?
In an independent test, 81% of people didn't experience any tooth sensitivity while using the kit.

Can I use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit if I have a retainer or braces?
You can use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit if can remove your retainer or brace. If you aren’t able to remove your retainer or brace, we do not recommend using STYLSMILE.

Can I use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit if pregnant or breastfeeding?
The STYLSMILE Brush kit is suitable for pregnant or nursing mothers, however, we would recommend you seek medical advice prior to use.

Can I share my STYLSMILE Brush Kit with a friend or partner?
For hygiene reasons we wouldn’t recommend sharing your toothbrush heads or mouth trays.

What age do I need to be to use the STYLSMILE Brush Kit?
The STYLSMILE Brush Kit is for those over the age of 7 years.

Does the STYLSMILE Brush Kit whiten veneers?
The STYLSMILE Brush Kit is only proven to whiten natural teeth. It is not recommended for veneers or false teeth.

Where is the best place to store my STYLSMILE Brush Kit?
We recommend the STYLSMILE Brush Kit is kept in a bathroom inside a cabinet or cupboard.

Do I need to use the STYLSMILE LED Accelerator Tray as well as the STYLSMILE Sonic Blue Light Toothbrush?
The STYLSMILE Sonic Blue Light Toothbrush & STYLSMILE PAPtech™ Toothpaste can be used without the STYLSMILE LED Accelerator Tray to obtain whitening results. We would recommend using the STYLSMILE LED Accelerator Tray & PAPtech™ Whitening Gels with the STYLSMILE Sonic Blue Light Toothbrush & STYLSMILE PAPtech™ Toothpaste to enhance whitening results.
